If you feel any disciplinary action taken against you is unjust or wrong you have the opportunity to appeal. If you wish to appeal against any disciplinary decision (including dismissal), you should inform Matt Halsey in writing within 7 working days of the decision being communicated to you, setting out the grounds and basis for your appeal. The appeal will be dealt with by another team leader above the level of the team leader who made the initial decision. You have the right to be accompanied at any appeal meetings. The outcome of the appeal will be communicated to you in writing within a reasonable time after the appeal meeting, usually within seven days of the meeting. The appeal decision will be final.
At the appeal hearing, any disciplinary penalty imposed cannot be increased.
