We want you to feel and be safe, happy and empowered to express yourself authentically at FitXR. We won't tolerate any behaviour that goes against our FitXR social code including racism, harassment, and discrimination. If any of this is happening (or you have the slightest feeling of discomfort), please speak up. We will support you. If you don’t feel comfortable identifying yourself or speaking directly to a member of the FitXR team, you can share your thoughts and concerns with our people team or our anonymous portal Speak Out (not a public link) at any time. Alternatively, you can reach out to the experts at Health Assured if you would prefer to address the concern with a third party.

Our social code identifies acceptable versus unacceptable behaviour when working at FitXR and the steps we will take to restore our values if someone violates them.

Diversity makes us stronger, smarter, and more agile. It gives us an edge on other companies and the perspective to find markets that others discount. Research has shown that racially-diverse companies are 35% more likely to outperform less diverse competitors.

We were inspired after reading this example from Workable and reading this blog by Andrea Barrica and used that as a starting point for this page.

Why do we need this social code?

The goal of our social code is to ensure that everyone working within FitXR is aware of which behaviours are appropriate and those which will not be tolerated. It is a starting point for healthy discussions, and we hope to use it as a resource to support and resolve any feeling of mistreatment.

Our social code

We expect you to foster a well-organised, respectful and collaborative environment. You should avoid offending, participating in altercations that are becoming personal, and disrupting our workplace. We will not tolerate anyone intimidating, pestering, humiliating, victimising or sabotaging others at FitXR. We also prohibit willful discrimination based on age, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, race, religion or disability. This is by no means an exhaustive list but it gives an indication, use your common sense. You should also conform to our inclusion and diversity playbook in all aspects of your work, from hiring and performance reviews to interpersonal relations. In general:

This code applies to all employees, contractors, public visitors, third party providers, customers and anyone else at FitXR with whom you come into contact.
